1 – Uploading a video
Klap lets you upload a video directly from a YouTube link.
If required, you can also upload a video from your computer.
In this test, it took around ten minutes for the software to upload and process a 20-minute video.
2 – Shorts selection
After processing the video, Klap proposes a selection of Shorts ranked by virality score. The higher the score, the more likely the extract is to go viral, according to Klap’s AI.
Again for our test, Klap identified no less than 11 shorts!

3 – Shorts customization with Klap
What I like about Klap, as with the competitors I’ve tested (SendShort and Opus), is the ability to customize what the AI proposes.
Here, we can modify 4 elements:
- The selected passage. If necessary, you can modify the selected moment.
- The crop. If cropping is not optimal, it can be adjusted manually.
- Subtitle text. They can be corrected as required.
- Subtitle appearance. You can use presets (templates) or modify the entire visual (font, size, colors, emojis, borders, etc.) to match your branding.
